i enjoyed doing this program learning all about the different tools on the internet. It made me a more useful web browser and i can help people out better.

net library

i have used net library in the past for research. I think its a well put together site and it has a decent selection of books on it. One book i found interesting was about orthodox Judaism.

podcasts

its interesting looking at the different podcasts that there are around the world. I love the TWIT pod casts
This Week In Tech is a family of pod casts. I generally just use the itunes pod cast finder because of its ease of use

web 2.0 awards

its interesting, it pulls out sites people wouldn't be exposed to in normal web surfing and it finds some interesting pics. Im surprised that it picked google docs over zoho, i found zoho to be a better product

zoho

i found it an easy to use site, which excels over google docs.
Its convinient you can post directly to the blog using the software and they have a number of different applications, its fascinating to use

PB wiki

it seemed to be a well put together wiki . it was a bit busy i added my blog to the list at the bottom because the editing tool didn't seem to be functioning i saw a list of people doing the same exact thing i did

working with wikis

its fascinating how the wiki can be used to make information more accessible to people and more approachable. I found that the wiki set up by the library system was a great way for students to access their path finders which are important tools

library 2.0

thats a very interesting idea and it seems very progressive reaching the masses through embracing web 2.0 to the fullest i think its a great idea nd I hope it gets more infusion into the general library flow. It will allow more patrons being serviced and will increase positive reviews

technorati

its a fasacinating site allowing you to search the other top blogs from around the country and around the world. It was easy to use my only issue with a site like these is you tend to get clumping going on but at least with something like this you will be able to find the sites you really want to get to

delicious experience

i had an ok experience using that site. I didn't really find it as helpful or as well put together as some of the other sites on this list
People use facebook all the time to share ideas and interesting websites that they have found that is a much easier source than this particular site

feed finder

i find that in general its easy to find different blogs and news postings around the web. I consider myself a realitively savvy tech user so this was something that comes second nature to me. It is a great way to connect with a bunch of different sources from all over the world

thats absolutely fascinating that you can sign up and follow all these types of blogs and sites in such an easy format.
it would make the daily news feed much easier and get a much wider array of choices with this site i am going to enjoy using this for forseeable future

my thoughts on technology

we live in a technological world. its amazing what you can do these days compared to just a few years ago.

Everyone is linked with everyone else in the world and it leads to a shrinking universe. I have friends that live in other parts of the country and the world and technology lets me communicated with them just as easy as my next door neighbor
